The Union of Women's Organizations of Republic of Macedonia (UWOM) is non-governmental women's organization, which was established in October 1994 by 13 independent women's organizations from different cities around the Republic of Macedonia. Since it's established the UWOM is functioning as a network of 70 member organizations. These organizations are different by its structure and interests. The UWOM is a multiethnic network of Macedonian, Albanian, Roma, Serbian and Vlach Women's Associations. Also members of the network are the Association of single mothers, the Association of women from third age (Veterans), group of women formed by interest such as group of women from the rural regions, women from the science, businesswomen (entrepreneurs) and migrants.
